The Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army, General of the Army Special Forces Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, met today with the Turkmen Governor of Kirkuk, Mohammed Saman Agha, who also serves as the Chairman of the High Security Committee.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed the current security situation in Kirkuk province. They emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Iraqi Army General Staff and the local provincial administration to maintain stability and ensure the safety of all citizens in the region.
Governor Agha extended his formal condolences to the Iraqi security forces following the death of First Lieutenant Hassan Khudair Zghair, who was killed in the line of duty.
The Governor expressed his firm support for the Iraqi security forces across all branches. He further commended General Yarallah’s pivotal role in developing the national military institution, as well as his ongoing commitment to Iraq’s stability and the security and safety of Kirkuk.
