The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Directorate of Meteorology and Seismology expects rainfall to continue today and tomorrow.
In a statement, the Directorate of Meteorology and Seismology announced that most of today’s rainfall will be observed in the southern regions, particularly affecting Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Garmian, and Sharazur.
Rainfall is expected to be more intense, especially in mountainous areas. Furthermore, precipitation is anticipated to shift towards central districts and provinces later in the day.
According to expert predictions, the intensity of rain will increase in some regions today and tomorrow, with heavy rainfall particularly expected in Erbil and its surroundings.
